so i was watering some of the backyard the other night ad it was so strange to look around and think, wow, that brick sitting there is Mine. This place is mine! and the banks, of course, but Mine.
we are about 5 days into tearing down old wallpaper, and wondering if i just should have used a sledgehammer and then put up new drywall. The hardest room was plaster walls though...took me 4 hours to get the paper down, and it took Tawny about 13 hours to remove all the old paper and paste.

Congratulations! It is a very odd feeling to own a house. Its a very sad feeling to watch the value on said house plummet (we're under by around $60k right now but I know the market's coming back). Hope all's well and you're still grinning!
